Roya Hmood is an Iraqi-Canadian visual development artist working in animation and is a proud graduate of the Sheridan College animation program.
She's worked in visual development and production management for a multitude of projects, including several projects in development at Spin Master, the TAAFI award-winning short film "On the Line", and her upcoming thesis film "Poppy's Garden", which wrapped up production in Spring 2026.
Roya is committed to creating boundless worlds and compelling stories through her playful, fresh approach to visual development.
